SEO / SEM Courses

I had an email come through from mad.co.uk regarding their new SEM course on the 12th of June - the homepage for the course is currently not working! but heres a link to the event at yahoo : http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/389470/.

Its pretty basic stuff and mainly for middle-management more than actual marketeers / optimisers. So my question is - what courses should i be going if any ? Is there any decent confrences i should be attending?

its coming to our year end - so will get a fresh budget so i want to book a few courses to make the most of it!

What do you guys suggest ?
