Default Google Pagerank Algorithm

If page A on domain X has PR5 and contains only one link to page B on domain Y which has PR1 what effect would this have of on the pagerank for page B?

What would be the outcome if a page C on domain Y was between page A and B?

According to the simplified pagerank calculation here it seems that the ending pagerank would be the same as the first page but I guess there are other factors that also play part in this calculation.

How does this work? Please see attached illustration.

That's an interesting way to spell Algorithm

There are plenty of articles explaining Pagerank at varying levels of complexity; just do a quick search.

Don't get too tied up in what PR the pages linking to you hold. If a page is relevant to yours, then a link can only help.
