Hey peeps i have some google adwords campaigns running and as like you guys im always wanting to make sure that they are performing right.

I was just wondering if there is any golden figure for the Click Through Rate? I feel mine may be really low but im not sure if it is just because the area I am advertising in.

Should i be worried that it is low? After all im not paying for it only the clicks.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Cheers in advance

Matt

Google PPC should generally get a CTR between 1-2%; above 3% is good; below 0.5% you should cancel. Mileage varies hugely here though - campaigns in some verticals will be able to sustain 8%-40% CTRs with the right keywords and creative.
