I am computer engineer and web developer but i don't know that much in SEO. My site indiatravelcity.com has information of all cities of india. But i want to target my site with keywords like "Travel in india", "Travelling in india", "India travel".

Use these keywords as your page title, meta description and meta keywords.
Also, share your link with other sites with these keywords only.
It will be nice if you target your site with some keywords only.
