I've started doing surprisingly well with ShareASale - checked back on a thin listings site I'd put up with merchant data from them and it's managing to thoroughly earn its keep without any effort - a very pleasant surprise!

I really want to be able to get feeds out of CJ but haven't cracked it yet, do you do that?

I've used Clickbank in the past and made a decent wedge but I've stopped actively promoting them over the past couple of years, although I still get passive sites from some low-traffic mini-sites I made at the time.

Affiliate marketing is playing nice role in online marketing both for Advertisers and publishers. Advertiser get the benefits from publishers. And publishers get the benefits from advertisment products. There are many affiliate program which says like this. But it seems affiliate market is going down because search engine do not prefer those website. Only one way is there to promote your affiliate program and i.e is blog. Ebay has good affiliate program but it need more consistency in marketing strategies.

Google doesn't give two hoots if your marketing strategy includes affiliates or not. It's not taken into account when calculating a pages SERPs position.

Nah man, Google really has it in for affiliate heavy sites - which seems like an unfair sweeping generalisation, but really, even the most useful of them (price comparison sites?) are still annoying!

Quick note... be careful with your affiliate networks and how they are linked to other sites, Got my paypal acct limited because my affiliate I used is an idiot.

How on earth did he manage that? What kind of paypal account was it?

He had the account and he sold bongs/pipes/seeds etc and then he payed me through his paypal account, his paypal account got limited and so did mine. The reason they gave me was because my network of affiliates is against the AUP. I have the emails I will post it later, my external HD is in the truck.
